What is Thermomix?

What is Thermomix?

In this COVID-19 times, chances are you would have probably heard about Thermomix.

With most nations putting their citizens under house arrest, cooking at home has become unavoidable, and to many, it is not an effortless activity. To say nothing of the tedoius and lengthy washing up that takes place after every meal.

Thermomix, is, to put it plainly, a very powerful blender that's so much mare than just a regular blender. It also cooks and stirs, with all of these taking place inside its two steamer baskets. It also comes with a built-in scale to make measuring out your inigredients much easier than having to get a separate scale.

With a Thermomix, there is basically nothing that you cannot cook. In addition to the 20 cooking functions, it is a machine that comes preloaded with recipes, even diet-specific ones which is displayed on a full colour touchscreen. The guided recipes makes it very simple to expand your cooking repertoire and achieve consistently great, professional results. All of this takes place on their award-winning recipe platform, granting user's the access to the world's biggest recipe library.

The cooking can be done in three ways, whether by following a recipe step-by-step, or manually using the precise time/temperature/speed settings, or directly through one of the cooking modes in the grid. That really makes the only thing you have to do is just add in the ingredients.

To start cooking, you first choose a temperature anywhere between 38°C to 121°C in 10 degree increments, and then you choose a blender speed, that can go up to 10,000RPMs, which is about the speed of turbines in a jet engine.

This makes the machine suitable for mostly everyone, whether you're a newbie, a talented cook or a professional chef.

Be that as it may, this machine comes with a steep price point and the substantial cost is enough to make a potential buyer pause and decide if its really worth it.

It is certainly a cool machine to have on your kitchen counter though.
