Fortunately for Kitchen Arena, we are primarily an online-based business. Despite being an e-commerce, we do regularly receive requests from customers who would like to see our products in its physical form. Somehow. when it comes to commercial kitchen, consumers in Malaysia are still somewhat cautious to buy an equipment without substantial proof of its existence.
But, recently, we are beginning to observe a marked change in the way our customers are shopping for commercial kitchen equipment. With more of our lives being relegated online, e-commerce purchases have surged over the past two weeks. Being online-based, we have the advantage of continuing on with our operations as there are little to no physical contact between us and our customers. For the most part, F&B establishments that are still able to operate via delivery are still purchasing equipment to keep their business running. In this regard, we are well-positioned to cater to the unabated demands of foodservice operators.
The coronavirus situation has also resulted in many areas of commerce coming to a standstill. With more ports being shut down and exports being restricted for the time being, suffice to say, that supply chains are one of the hardest hit. However, at Kitchen Arena, we have always believed that having domestic supply chains that we can count on will serve us well. Especially in e-commerce, where timeliness is a critical aspect of order fulfillment. More than anything else, we prioritize customer satisfaction and always will.
As a significant portion of our customers will find themselves irrevocably transformed in the way they approach the purchase of commercial kitchen online, we too must strive to continually be one step ahead of the commercial kitchen equipment market.
