It's October and finally time for us to welcome the third issue of the Kitchen Arena magazine.
In this issue, we are still in the midst of the Movement Control Order but in a much more relaxed phase of the effort.
With all the restriction on travel, many Malaysians have reverted to going local, focusing their attentions on everything made in Malaysia and in this case, locally-produced food. Which in turn helps support local enterprises who are actually rather successful in their own right.
Thus, in this issue we take a look at homegrown brands and what makes them tick. We figured that it would be only right to take this opportunity to also highlight the niche enterprises that has emerged in this C-19 time.
We had the privilege of sitting down with the Asian regional manager of UNOX at their Malaysian headquarters. We also had the opportunity to interview one of Malaysia's top frozen durian exporter.
You would be glad to know that our food reviews are here to stay and we hope you enjoy drooling over the pics and more!
Oh, and the reviews aren't paid or sponsored for in any way by the eateries.
Whether this issue helps you discover the best of what our enterprising individuals have to offer or gain a better understanding of the growing home-based F&B scene in the country, we hope that it will enrich the reading experience of this magazine.
So sit back, read the magazine, and enjoy!
Curated by us, for the industry and beyond.
