Gyoza

Gyoza

INGREDIENTS

800g water 

2 tbsp vegetable oil

100g cabbage, chopped

3cm fresh ginger, peeled

2 cloves of garlic

5 chives, chopped

3 spring onions, cut into pieces

300g minced pork / chicken

1 tsp sesame oil

2 tsp soy sauce

2 tsp rice wine vinegar

2 tsp potato flour

1 pack gyoza pastry

Pinch of salt and pepper


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place the cabbage into the TM bowl and turbo 3 - 4 times (scraping down each pulse). - cabbage should turn very finely sliced.

2. Remove cabbage and place into a bowl.

3. Add in minced pork, crushed garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and caster sugar. (Reverse, Speed 3, 10 sec) 

4. Place 1 tsp of gyoa filling onto the center of your gyoza wrapper and wet the edges to wrap it tighly together.

5. Fill your ALLDA jug with water of up to 1.5L, and place your gyozas on the steamer tray with the steamer lid closed. (Temp 120C, Steam, 25 minutes.)

6. Dip with soy sauce and enjoy!
