Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting Care Academy Malaysia for their Confinement Food workshop.
Of late, the postnatal service industry is starting to gain traction among Malaysians, so it is no surprise to know that there is a growing number of individuals interested in pursuing a stable and respectable career in the field of caregiving.
Caredemy is one such institution that was established in 2016 to provide training in the area of postnatal care services. Over the years, it has grown tremendously in terms of the specialisation they offer. Now, they even offer courses, certifications and training sessions encompassing all aspects of caregiving, such as Elderly Care, Postnatal Care, Babysitting and so on.
During the session, the participants were taught to cook several confinement dishes. But the dishes aren't the conventional ones that you'll think of. Instead they're pork-free and alcohol-free. Now that's interesting, eh?
